Has anyone else seen Chris' great looking new 17s, which are now on both front and back of his 7?
Damn, that car looks sweet, and those tires are massive. Finally, that car sticks, I mean it really sticks. Can't wait to see how they did racing today!

Thanks for the kind words JEB,
I like them a lot better, we can finally put down some of the power. It's feels better in that when it starts to step out we can bring her back in where she needs to be instead of going in circles. It's a lot stiffer and steadier too. Thanks for the caster advice
All the work Chris has done over the winter with the suspension, brakes, tires and the tune and stuff has really paid off.
Now we just have to get used to the car again and I think we will really be rocking it. I'm looking forward to having some of the instructors who drove it with the old setup take it out again to get their feedback.

Your too kind, JEB
Thanks,
Michelle did incredilby well today. I will be attending remedial training up at Everett next weekend.
Jenkins, I got on the T2 booster and master cylinder; much much better, Had to do a little grinding on the clucth master cylinder to fit it in there. I will be sure to square away with you at Izzy's thanks again for bringing the parts out to the drive.

It roasted the tires because it has 250 hp to the wheels and 218 torque at 3500 rpm and weighs 2200 pounds or so. Next stop is a 17x9 wheel with 255 40 17 rubber. Eventually I will win this battle.
No a 2nd gen pumpkin wont fit up with a first gen rear end housing way different. It has a GSL SE pumpkin which is lsd and has a 4.08 final drive ratio. Its hard to keep the rear tires planted on a twisty road with a solid axle rear end. Thats probably the FB biggest hurdle to being a great sports car.

So, with the caster adjustment did the steering feel anylighter?
No, not really. We are going to try the smaller turn in spacer 1.5" rather than the 2 1/4 we are running now. We went to Everett today to do some TO and sort out the car a little bit. It was my worse day of driving yet. I had a tough time on the tight course they put together up there. Good to get some bad driving out of the way though.
I have to say though the steering feels great at highway speeds
