Well it has been decided that RPNW wishes to do this Rotor Rally for next year by themselves, so I guess disregard the above following choices, as it is their call on what and where they want to have a Rotor Rally.

Maybe we can still make one of these events next spring/summer on our own anyways.

I do know that if a Rotor Rally is held in the Packwood area, that most of us East siders will not be attending this year. Instead of a 169 mile drive to wenatchee or gen area, packwood would be a 273 mile trip for us. Thats a bit spendy in gas, hotel, packages for us. Will see you all at the next West side annual BBQ.

Of course you can go to the Rotor Rally and so can anyone, its just that the RPNW wishes to keep the Rotor Rally under the RPNW, so it's their call on what and where they wish to have the Rally etc. (It's good they want to keep it).

We were just told that they didnt want anything to do with it and was handing the responsibilities over to our club and your club for this next coming rally, so we were starting a bit early on where everyone wished to have the next Rally etc.

So Im looking forward to sitting back and enjoying the rally this year instead of helping. The only part that kinda sucks is that I have a feeling it will be held in the packwood, or an area that is a bit far for our Eastsiders to travel, and with the additional expenses that you pay to attend the Rally. I shouldnt speak for our club, but I know a majority of the spokanalites/Idahoians won't travel that far. I know that we will be missing this year if it's in packwood. I don't want to miss the yearly BBQ this year on your side, so 2 trips with Blue and Iotus is mighty expensive. Id rather be at your BBQ than in Packwood.

Just kick back Matt and wait for RPNW to announce what the plans will be

See ya next spring

+1. I just can't see driving all that way. As fun as it is, that's a long way from home, for a weekend that flies by that fast.

well, packwood is actually closer to me, and if anyone wants to camp at casa de jenkin and do the drive over the mtn... you are welcome to hang here = zero housing expense... highway 12 isnt as fun as 410m but forest road 52 kicks *** (a mini tail of the dragon)

anyway, i would be glad to put up a few people, but the 4 star nature of accomodations will be inversely proprtional to the number of folks that partake (more folk= camp in yard-but i would turn off the lawn sprinklers that usually go off at 0430)

I chose option #1

I like the fact there is lots to do, and I know my way around whenatchee now. Personally I dont think there is anything wrong with previous Rotor Rally. It is definately not broke.

Thanks again to all those who donate their time and finances to make this happen. You are appreciated.

ocean shores sounds kickass.

but i like wenatchee, becuase it was fairly close to my farm in cle elum.

and because i followed some guy in a FC becuase i though he was going to the meet (last year was my first year) and it turned out he lived in wenatchee and i followed him to his house....pretty awkward, but we had some beers, and talked for a bit. turns out he just got out of jail for meth....
