So Is Anyone Going To 75/80 Tonight

It was an interesting shake out day for me. I found out I have to launch in 2nd with street tires. My and booby's first run he beat me with a 13.5932 @105.68 to my 13.6981@110.8082. The run where I beat him he ran a 13.4731@106.50 to my 13.1129@108.6473.
On the second run I launched in second cause first was a spinning waste on street tires and unfortunately I had to shift into 5th at around the 1000' or I would have hit the limiter before the traps so that slowed me down a lot. Once I put the 26" or 28" ET Streets on the car I should go through the traps around 6k in 4th which would be just about perfect.
Not a bad first day out. What do you guys think I will run with the ET Streets?? Maybe 12.3-12.5's or better? This was granny shifting too. I am not 100% comfortable with the shift pattern so things were slow there too. **** if I could get my 60' down to a 1.7 I would be at a 12.4 all other things the same. My 60' on the 13.1 pass was 2.1789 (yuck!).
Time to get the slicks mounted and see what she will do next weekend. I have a 13.1 pass on camera but the zoom isnt to good so you cant see much after the launch.
The biggest thing I was surprised about was our MPH. I was around 110 all my passes.
So what do you think she has in her with slicks??
It was a good day, slow but still good times. I particularly like what Bobby said after our first run which he won. I said it was cool hearing you BOV. He said I will make sure I point it towards the back of the car so you can hear it better!! HAHAHA. Oh yeah then I spanked him the next pass!!! Just playin man it was a good time but if I have to tell one more person about the car I might just die. I think there were about 15 today alone!!

haha j/k man. I wonder if all the other tracks will be closed for the runoffs too? or just 75/80?? Perhaps capital will still be open because it is not a NHRA sanctioned track.
