I am if the rain holds off. Next week the car will be making its debut. Not sure if I am gonna run the slicks or just the street tires though. I want to get used to her before I try my first serious pass

I picked up some new tires, swapped in a couple of bushings, changed the plugs, and next Friday night (9/5) I'm hitting the 11s.

Dave, when are you gonna run that brand new super-duper engine you built? I would like to see the results of your craftsmanship.

Dave, "someday" is good.

Bobby, I just saw the weather forecast. It's looking good but only if we are boat racing.

Heavy rains for Thursday and Friday.

By the way, how you making out with that midpipe? Seems a bit risky with sequential twins, no? I suspect you are getting that fuel cut for a real reason, like 25 lbs of boost?.

Solve it yet?

Well guys the "mongruel" is at the exhaust shop today getting some quite pipes put on. I will be at 75/80 this friday for some runs on street tires if the track even opens. I think I am going to wait until next friday to try my luck on the slicks but who know between now and friday. Either way me and the 7 will be there with part of her interior missing cause I havent put it back in but there none the less.

Damn Tom if you run 11's you will make me look bad!!

Yes I solved the problem. My problem was i set the boost too low (~9.5lbs) and the PFC just could not control it well enough. So it overboosted easily. the PFC has a built in defencer that cuts fuel after you go over your target boost level by (i think) 25%.

So all i had to do was set the boost at 13lbs, and it holds strong. I dont get creep even in 4th gear wot runs.

The forcast doesent look good

stupid rain
