Still not bad numbers for the first time out this season. You will get it figured out, you could always go the LS1 route!! hahaha

On my front EXCELLENT NEWS!!!!

I got the car back together and on the road!!! My exhaust needs to me moved a little bit it is rubbing the transmission a little and not allowing the exhaust to seat properly so I have a small exhaust leak. I have a few electrical bugs to work out but nothing major there just getting the line lock working and the nitrous working but I think that is all electrical.

I also got the 99 spec bumper mounted and even though I had to do some bending to the passenger fender wher EIP crashed it last year it looks BADDASS!!! I love it.

I do have to say though with the 3800rpm stall torque converter in the car it pulls like a raped ape without the spray. I cant wait to hit the juice.

I have army drill this weekend so I am looking at the following week to unveil the car at the track and hopefully by then I can put a couple hundred miles on the car to make sure everything is good to go.

Hell I may come up friday for some shakedown passes. I miss the track and everything seems to be working like it is supposed to except the nitrous which hopefully I can figure out tonight or tomorrow.

I think I will get the ET Streets mounted tomorrow so I dont spin the entire time. I can live with the exhaust leak it doesnt sound bad until you get off the gas then you get a little popping from it not seating correctly.

Hopefully I can get there early enough to get some runs in before the minivans show up to race.

No laughing at my tri colored car though!!!

Figures doesnt it. I got my nitrous figured out and found a bad solenoid which I replaced. Everything is working correctly except the torque converter lock up switch which doesnt effect the track anyway.

Looks like this weekend is a wash with 75-80 closed and I have drill saturday and sunday. Hopefully Bill is better and the track will reopen next week.

I took the car to work the last 2 days with no issues so that is a good sign. It is running really rich because of the exhaust leak, the O2 sensors arent seeing what they should so it is running VERY rich which doesnt help the fuel mileage either. EIP cant get me in to fix the exhaust until the 29th of this month, oh well I can live with rich.

I guess for me it is time to pretty up my interior over the next week and maybe hit 75-80 or Mason dixon or capitol. I need to get to the track and see what she will do!!

I havent even sprayed mine yet and I am glad I didnt. Just for ***** and giggles I was testing out all the solenoids and one of my fuel solenoids wasnt working!!! That would have been ugly if I would have hit the 120 shot with only 1/2 the extra fuel it needed! But all is good now and hopefully the track will be back open so we can play this weekend!!!
