It is possible for me but a LONG shot. If I am able to get into the garage tonight and friday and all day saturday I may be on the road. I finally got the shifter mount the way I like it late last night now I need to weld up a tranny cooler mount and finish up the wiring for the line lock and the lockup switch for the trans but that should go pretty fast.
Then I need to remount the new bumper and I will be done but the car is looking kind of hooptie with the primer headlight covers and front bumper!!!

Missed the first elimination run, then ran an 12.1@114.2 for the first run on my brand new clutch.
Then 11.8@117.4 with a crappy 1.69 60" for the second run.
Then the car went to hell in the first round of eliminations, not that I could have run with the 10.1 Supra anyway.
Launched at 8,000 and fell flat right after launch. Same old problem, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. New coils, new coil harness, new plug wires, new plugs, every ground clean and tight, new hose job, all solenoids checked and some replaced. PITA!!!
Back to the drawing board. Somewhere a gremlin lurks. Crank sensor? Baked & ancient engine harness? Bad ECU? Arrggg!

I had lots of fuel, too much actually, close to half a tank, and I upgraded my fuel pump over the winter. There is something else going on. Running 112 may have an effect since it burns slower but my first two runs I had no problems at all, except the driver.
My first elimination run (the other guy broke) I was focused on reving between 7,000 and 7,500 and it fell on its face. The next elimination run I was focused on 7,500 to 8,000 and it fell on its face. No misfires, no missing, no indication of a problem, reving up and down nicely, until I drop the clutch and then it just sits there.
Had the same problem last year, incuding the day I ran the 11.6. In my first elimination run (also hopeless against a Supra) it did the same damn thing.
Gotta sort this out.
