NaughtyFD I have been working on a Chevy 350 in my engine building class. Really a primitive piece, full of pistons and valves and lifters and such, and damn if I can find a rotor anywhere!

Tom, taking an engine building class seems like a great idea. I think i'm going to to take automotive repair next year at the local tech center (you can do this for school credits)

Yes I used an Optimam Red top. Be advised I had to cut about 1" off of the top of the summit battery box for it to be able to fit .

The rotars go on the wheels Tom not in the engine!!!!

I was acutally thinking of a auto rebuild and body/paint class this summer

So... the rotors go on the wheels!? Nobody 'splained it like that before.

Montgomery College has a really good auto tech program. Last semester I took the introductory auto tech course and Auto Science & this semester Electricity I & Engine Building.

Soon, any day now, I will be able to wash the car with confidence.

Bobby, how goes the project?

Yep I would leave them out if I didnt have the battery there.

You can remove it and add it to the passenger side of the hatch ,just over the strut. Mount it down with a tie down metal strap and bolt that down..

Ahh you guys dont need a class.

Rip the engine apart and build it back.

Directions!! We don't need no stinking directions man!! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683785.gif

The biggest thing for me is how to check clearances, etc. a rebuild is easy but getting everything right is tough. If you have the helms manual though you already have a good start.

Well I will be doing my heads/cam swapo shortly so.....

You guys think I should go with a transbrake or no????????

As soon as the clutch and the fuel system get in, the motor can go back in!

Just waiting on stuff...

After i get thoes parts...i can have everything together soon.

Then i need to make (have made) IC pipes, do the battery, and get my front bumper painted. If i have enough dough, im going to make a 32 row oil cooler kit. Then tunning...

then im done spending money after its tuned.

my bank account has suffered from all this ****...im almost broke again. I should have enough to finish the car...hopefully https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub..._DIR#>/sad.png
