this guy!!

Anyway....Hello all. I've been on rx7club.com for a couple years and thought I'd come over here and see how things are done.

I've got a 1988 6-port Turboed. So far it's been a blast. I'm just having trouble keeping my boost under control. Frikin' S4 wastegate!!! Yeah, so here it is......

Nice ride! Turbo would be nice, but I'm happy with my FB GSL. Welcome to nopistons, you'll no doubt find us a bit friendlier than those other guys.,,,,BB

I never had a real problem with the "other" guys. I was one of the noobs that searched before asking!

I'd say I've had my share of f-ups. I've had 3 rx7's so far. 2 N/A's and now my turbo. I've blown up 2 motors as well. HaHa!!

Eh, you live and learn. And two things I've learned are you get what you paid for AND it's hard to finish someone elses project.

I've made it a personal rule to never buy someone else's project car. Knowing what I do to some of mine sometimes, i'll stay FAR AWAY from other people's! Welcome to NoPistons!

"I was one of the noobs that searched before asking!"

If everyone searched everything without asking, then what is a message board for. They would die out in a matter of months, as every problem these cars have could be covered in that time. People that fly the "search before asking" banner and act like asses, make me sick. So, I have never jumped anyone for that reason. Like that's the first thing a noob wants when starting his first thread, to get hammered over the head with this searching etiquette.,,,,BB

I've always been nice to people about the searching stuff. By the time you search the hundreds of threads of "how to swap a t2 motor" you can ask, and generally people can tell you exactly who and wha to look for. Narrowing it down to 10 threads!

It gets annoying when somebody asks the same question that is only a couple of threads down. But welcome to the forums, you will enjoy it here.
