i am not familiar with the software mentioned, but most of the ecu apps are not a that demanding a cheap p3 would be a safe bet... i would think.

every ECU i've deal with has worked with even the shittest laptops i've seen. Find yourself a good used minimalistic laptop that you aren't gonna be afraid to use in the garage or getting bounced around in the car.

a pentium 3, around 800mhz would be good, but a pentium 2 should work. id use windows xp professional, around 512mb of ram, with maybe a 20gb hard drive. that should be more than enough.
