Looks spiffy Be the first to try it

Is this made by the Sakura racing team? Weren't they the ones with an Rx-7 drag car?

yes and no. they had the fastest mirage, i think, with a 2.6 starion engine. the car has now gone jet propelled. it made a 8.something sec pass. it was faster when it had the starion engine. it was its first pass ever, though.

u might be referring to saruwatari(sp), who went from rx7 to nsx, and i think is/was working on a new civic si.

There isn't much tech info I read the lingo but it only talks about some load points and what engines you can supposedly run it on. I am sure it is comparable to all of the other ones.

well right off the bat, the yardstick e6k has 22 load points per rpm vs this ecus 15. thats about the only hardware thing in there. they dont mention anything about ignition outputs

at the pan americans this weekend the sakura jet car made a 6 sec pass. and the jet car is not the same car that had the starion engine in it, it was just built to look the same.

for the record sakura was the first import to ever run a 7 sec pass. the 'kid' driving was the son of the owner. he was 16 or 17 years old at the time, and if i remember correctly didn't even have a drivers liscense. (gotta love atco raceway for thier lax rules) that first 7 sec pass was made at atco raceway during the pan americans a few years ago. i still remember the reaction from the crowd when the boards lit up.....

the ecu is prolly just a relabeled ecu from some other manafacturer. i looked at it at thier pits yesterday and they couldnt answer any technical questions i had about it
