there's also a shop on the east side of dallas called rotary performance. from what I've seen their work is hit and miss depending on the mechanic that does the work, but they do sell good parts on their site

rx7.com

and for the oldest shop and best supplier of good suspension bits and pieces

racingbeat.com

for miscellaneous odds and ends for racing that you can't find elsewhere i've found here

mazdatrix.com

hope this helps your luck some and welcome to the forums!!

I've had a wonderful experience with Banzai (within the month). I will definitely look forward to giving them my business every chance I get.

Yeah the silver car I test drove had an RP motor in it. It's been ages since I've been in their shop...I actually think Steve was still a member of the shop the last time I was in there. I like Steve so I go to him...when I can afford to.

I just have to maintain my priorities get back to work in school and then the RX-7 isn't nearly as dismal as it seems. After I finish school then I'll really be able to feed this beast money unconditionally. For now it's just a really really expensive lego project.

I tried to work on the car today, but it's just too cold. I went after the UIM and it felt stuck so I decided to wait for it to warm up a bit. Back on the back burner it goes.

So you're the guy with the ultra red motor. I've seen pictures of your car albeit I can't recall where. Another forum perhaps or perhaps it was just the Banzai website. Nice!

I'm in Texas for at least a couple years. My mom got fed up with my back and forth routine and told me if I went back to Texas I wouldn't be welcome back to live until I finished college. Haha, it's good though as I'm happy to be back in Texas so I have to make the best of it. My friend joined the Army and I think he has stuff to do in Ft. Worth, but if you knew him I doubt you'd like him...he's a real jackass, but my friend nonetheless. I had another friend in the USAF and he had to go to Wichita Falls once a month. Sounds like a shitty drive. As for our home away from home...I'll take my sandbox equipped with a beach, green mountains, and beautiful women over your sand box. I'm down to cruise though...might be in the Nissan though. Hahaha.

I've heard they have meets every saturday that the weather's good on the north side of ft. worth in the home depot parking lot. it's right off the loop so you can't miss it. i've been by it but never stopped in as my car has out of state tags so i'm a marked target as it is haha.
