New FD owner
Hi everyone. I just bought a 93 R1 FD. Well, sort of. It needs lots of parts. It is a "roller" and I use the term loosely.
I have owned more than 100 cars, some fun some mundane. I ALMOST got a FD in Japan in 96, but didn't want to get rid of my Z32 to get it.
I have owned more than 20 AE86's and a handful of 1st gen Rx-7's.
I will be putting a rotary back in this FD, once I get some parts to make this into a car.
I will post a WTB post after I look around this forum. I have been a member of rx7club for years, and am member on club4ag, nicoforums, zilvia, ohio drifting and ziptied to name a few...
I am in Bardstown, KY during the week and Richmond, IN on weekends. I will eventually move down to Bardstown, once the wife gets a job down here...
My son has some miatas and an AE86, he is not into forums.

Re: New FD owner
Welcome to FD ownership. Sounds like you have a better idea than most of what you're in for buying a 'roller'. The FSM and the forums will definitely be your friend.
When you get it up and going I think you'll be pleasantlly surprised at how the car compares to your previous rides. Good luck.
A side note...considering a Miata for my son as well. Something we can work on together.
