hey im new my name is johnie im 17. I just bought a 86 mazda rx7. cant seem to get it to stay running. im really anxious to strart driving it but i dont no a whole lot about the rotary engine. the car will start up and run but it wont idle. It doesnt even try to stay running if i give it gas it will stay running but it backfires alot. so i really need some help. anything will help thanks. p.s. i live near columbus ohio

 

New to the site, been dealing with cars just about all my life. Own a 94 RX-7, with slight mods. Hoping to do some more in the near future.
