Hi All,

Name's Richard. I'm from Baltimore, MD. I've been in love with RX7's for a while but got a mitsu eclipse turbo. That one is down and I just banged up my 89 mr2: runs but ain't pretty anymore. I'd like to replace that with a FC n/a. If anyone knows of one that runs and is close to me shout it out. Thanks. Look forward to rotoring down the road.

After I find one to drive I'll probably try to get a spare engine from the junk yard and try my first rebuild, and do some port and polish work. I'll probably ask a lot of questions with that project.

My goal is to keep that car on the road so i can get my eclipse fixed and give that to my brother cause I owe him big time and I can't afford insurance on two cars.

Well wish me luck, and if you know where i can get a running car under a grand let me know.

Hi all Im new to the scene myself. The 7 has been my dream car for awhile. Finally found one a 93 with the 5 speed that had the single conversion done. Got it through ebay as the first place buyer didnt come through. I got pretty lucky as i flew to la from phoenix and it got me home alive without breaking down. I know they are finicky as hell but they are just like hot women, treat them right and they will make you happy. Make any mistakes and you pay the consequences. Ill post all my pics once shes totally done which should be around two months or so. The paint guy is a bit backed up. Anyone in the phx area want to hang out just send me a pm.

Hello I am new to this forum. I have been on Rx7club for like 6 years but I do not think I can access it from work anymore. Does anyone know about this problem? Anyway, I can access this site, so cool. I have a 3rd Gen, 1993. Nice to meet everyone.

..And yes. Ive been having the same problems, outside of home that is. Work, and random other places.

Hi everyone, just signed up a couple of days ago. I have a love for RX's and rotarys but have been too poor to get one and with no garage to care for one like I want. I'm from Derby in the middle of England and am into drifting quite heavily. I don't get off on JDM tYtE bullshit though and in protest to people who think mega money is the way forward in drifting - me and a couple of mates started www.TrampDrift.com

Anyway, I have been in trouble with the police recently and they have taken away the BMW e28 I just bought to re-shell my old one, so they have scuppered my immediate plans. I am facing a potential driving ban and hopefully within about a week (pending words with my boss) I should be getting a big payrise to a reasonable wage. I now want to buy a pick up truck, preferably a mazda b2000, and use it to tow a track-only BMW drift car on a trailer so it will save money on insurance and I won't worry about going mental on it in terms of road legality.

Problem is, I've now been thinking about it more and want more power to tow with than the standard 2.0 80 odd bhp motor, and also as it's RWD I would like to drift the pick up truck, so I "may as well" fit a 13b turbo into it. Not to try and be new and different or cool etc, but purely because they are a great engine (never driven one though!), small, powerful, and I know some stuff about them compared to various other mazda engines. I have also learned that you can put the tail end of the b2000 gearbox onto the FC gearbox which solves that issue. Happy days.

Anyway that's me, cheers.

Mike.
