Welcome to nopistons!

One of the joys (?) of a new-to-you car is figuring out what the previous owner did to it.

I figured it out.. My leading coil is bad.. that's why it was wired in reverse..

ahhh!

Right now I'm only running the trailing coil wired to leading side of the distributor
not running the trailing at all.. I'm told they are 5% of usefulness.

I'm looking to replace my bad coil with an MSD Blaster 2 and hook the oe coil that works to the trailing side.. it was my trailing coil anyway,..

looks like they messed with dizzy too.. probably needed to. cause timing the leading dizzy side i have to retard so much 7-8 degrees advance is as low as i can get it.
