lol...nothing shittty about a rotary, i don't know too many 1.3L motors that can put out this kind of power, If you are picking up an fd, I must insist that you become a maintenence *****, do your research and find out why, but I think you will be pleased with all the hard work in the long run.....quite a fun car
ok i'm quite scared...about the maintenance..I used to want a Supra or a Skyline R32 which are said to be virtually indestructible...but they cost like 1.5x the price of an RX7...

1 year later and I still doesnt have it ! lol, I'm importing a car from japan in august, just havent set my mind on which one yet...

Skyline R33 GTS25T (250hp, single turbo, RWD)

Supra SZ (220hp, n/a, RWD)

RX-7 FD (~275hp, TT, RWD)

it's so hard to decide lol, the Skyline is nice, performance-wise, but not really sexy IMO, then there's the supra, but it's worth more than the FD and doesnt quite match it's performances...it's not the same suspension/brakes/ECU/etc. then on the TT , and the TT is way to expensive for me. And then there's the FD which is so SEXY and is like a dream to drive (from what I heard) , but I keep hearing bad things about them, the second I say "I might get a rx7" everyone goes like "NOOOO, THEY ALWAYS BREAK, THEY ARE SHITTY, DON'T GET THAT, GET A SUPRA INSTEAD" lol and well I got a garage and i'd like to learn how rotaries work but i'm not that much confident...I never REALLY worked on an engine before...and I don't even know if I'd be able to do the reliability mods myself. Considering that here in Quebec there's like 1 or 2 rotaries shops and they are very far from where I live (300km) i'd have to work on the car all by myself....
