Hi everyone! my name's Felix and I live in Canada (lol). I'll soon buy a rx7 FD but I don't know much about rotary engines. I heard a lot of people telling me that the 13B was ****, and that rotary engines in general were ****! but I thougt that I would go and see for myself why some people likes them! I also came here to learn everything I can about the 13B

cya on the forum!

Hey welcome to nopistons.

Did the ppl that said rotaries are **** actualy ever own one?

If your just getting into rotary cars I wouldn't dive into getting a fd right away.

Maybe start with a non turbo or turbo fc. Easier to work on and alot cheaper.

Then go for it man don't let what I told you scare you. Just ask around and read up before getting one.

I used to want a fd and still do, just could never afford one... yet! I like all the body styles though.

Good luck man & when you do get one take good care of it.

ahah thx! and you can be sure that i'll take good care of it! it's such a nice car (well from what I saw ) and about the price, I could never afford a USDM one because they are rougly 25 000USD here in Canada, but i'll import one from japan and it will cost me round ~9000USD for a 1992 Type S so it's cool!

lol...nothing shittty about a rotary, i don't know too many 1.3L motors that can put out this kind of power, If you are picking up an fd, I must insist that you become a maintenence *****, do your research and find out why, but I think you will be pleased with all the hard work in the long run.....quite a fun car

Dont take a fd as a walk in the park...save up a bit more than just spending all your pennies on one..they are need of high maintenance..regularly.

Where in canada are you?
