Fuel efficiency at higher RPM
#1
Hi,
I'm new to the forum and not a rotary owner yet. I drive boats and am curious about the fuel economy that can be expected. My ultimate goal is to replace a mercury 200HP 2 cycle power head with a 13BT to run on ethanol. My best guess at fuel burn is roughly 15 gallons per hour at 6800 RPM and 250 BHP. The HP output depends on a lot, boost pressure, tuning, etc. If anyone has info on dyno testing where fuel flow rates were monitored, I'd appreciate the help.
Anyway, I like what I've seen at nopistons so far. Keep up the great work.
