Hey

My dad bought a 'non-running' '89 RX7 Turbo II and traced the main symptom to no +ve at the fuel pump. With a temporary feed to the pump the car runs fine.

So could it be fuel pump relay or circuit opening relay?

Fuel pump relay seems easy to find under the airbox, but where's the circuit opening relay?

There is a second relay under your dash on the drivers side as well.

Ya, it's a small little black box, should have some white writing on it. Of course if you dont find a new one in a junk yard, it's going to cost you about $80 if you order it from Mazda. Good luck, If I still had an RX I'd help you.
