So I see a about a 2001 Corolla S. As I pass him he gives me the fart can rev. So I'm like ok then. We get up to the next light and take off from a stand still. First gear was all good then in second this fool started pulling away from me. I'm no expert or anything but I defintiely knew he had more than just a CAI and exhaust. A 90 GXL vs 01 Corolla S. hmmm. let's think about this one. I did a little research and found out he weighs in at 2400 lbs. and with his ricer stuff probably about 140 hp. With my CAI to make 155 hp and factory weight of 2800 lbs. I know now why I ate ****. His third gear started pulling really hard and didn't get a chance to go any further because of a car but I know he would have kept creepin away. It sucks so I guess I'm going to start doing some weight reduction and get the Haltech to help out the situation. I'm just not sure where I should begin reducing because I still have to have emissions and A/C. It's Texas... it's hot... enough said. Oh where to begin. Can't lose the fat girl cause I ain't got one, can't lose the rear seat either, and sure can't blame it on wind drag cause everything was closed. Damn the bad luck.

oh yeah the title says 2700 but that's still not comparable. I plan on upgrading to a single turbo setup within this year hopefully; none of this upgrading to a turbo II nonsense. Mine as well go all out if i plan to do it. I'm not doggin ya if you have a turbo II though, you'd beat my ***. just gotta wait on a settlement of 5 G's.

please see the swap threads, you need to swap the engine and drivetrain, cheaper to buy a TII unless you have some godly clean body.

hahaha playincrzy this is the best place in the world for knowledge if you come here with an open mind, to do a "single turbo" which implies (in most cases) it was at one point twin turbo is wrong lol to turbo your 6-port n/a is ALOT more trouble and money than just doing the t2 swap, either way youre buying the whole drivetrain and instead of a standalone and tuning you can be stock for a bit for a fraction of the cost, the t2 is single turbo (sorry if that sounds mean it sounded like you didnt know this by your post) and its fairly affordable, after owning 2 n/a's i know theyre fun and pretty quick against cars in its age range and price level but its not gonna beat a brand new car... sorry.
