Retard, its a NA supra, the bov is a sound played by a speaker, not amplified by a microphone anywhere. [/quote]

The speaker sets up harmonic oscillations that cancel out his engine's vibration and let it rev higher. And the neon lights under the body cause an ELF (extremely-low-frequency) electromagnetic wave that builds up in the cavity between the car and the ground, which raises the quantum energy level of the fuel as it flows through your lines and gives the effect of up to 1.4x the compression, safely. And, the stickers... Um...

*runs out of BS*

they don't amplify the sound....they mimic the sound.

Oh, I know what you're talking about, although I've never seen one. I was just trying to get inside the mind of a ricer--figure out why you would want to look fast without being able to back it up.

I can help you out with the go-fast sticker "reasoning," Orochinoyamato: See, they're aerodynamic mods that help delay the onset of boundary layer separation, kinda like an extremely small scale spoiler. Equivalent to an extra 1-100 bhp, depending on the size of the sticker and the speed of the car. For instance, the little Mazdaspeed stickers that they were giving out at the Ford 100 thing in Detroit are worth about 3 bhp each, tops, and measure 1"x6". The Supra had a Toyota logo covering the whole rear hatch, so that was worth an easy 75, 80 horses. You had a close call, Alex! I'll bet you never knew he was so powerful!

Seriously though, Oro, one of the guys I went to college with did something like that vibes bit as a senior project: Put a speaker in front of a wing to see if the sound does anything with it. Last I heard, he had Air Force sponsorship at one point, but I have no idea how it ultimately turned out. Suffice to say that the "vibes" for the Supra engine are just "amplified" laughter of anyone who hears about it!
