Jim nice car all around. I own a 90 TII that also happens to be black. I thought the 13b rew would put down some higher hp #'s with the T04E than 320rwhp. Do you need more fuel or tuning? Don't get me wrong I'm not complaining. I really respect what you've done. Maybe I was thinking about 13b rew's with port jobs and the T04E.
more fuel?

Amazes me the size of the injectors you guys run!

(serious non-wiseguy type comment)

What kind of duty cycle on those big boys?

1990 13BT in buddys Rx3 made 320 rwhp with std primaries & 12A turbo secs (880cc supposedly).Boost was 16, mixture was mid to high 11's @ about 6800 duty cycle 65%

We (read he) weren't inclined to try for max numbers, but the curve wasn't turning down at that point..... Little tin can is a missile even like this!

There is PLENTY on fuel left. 320RWHP is a lot of horsepower. I am sure 370RWHP will be even better. I do not have to time to go to a dyno and tune it more.

Did your friend ever blow an engine? Could he survive three 30PSI spikes in 30 seconds? My car did. I can run this car at 1.5 bar no problem right now its tuned to handle it. I choose not to. Like I said when I loose I will go looking for more HP. Right now you would need a 11 second car to beat me. You dont come across those on the street every day.

I'll stick with my 320RWHP and drive this car problem free for many years.

I know there is a lot more pontential to this engine setup I just choose not to be greedy as far as HP goes.

Hey chill Jim I'm after info not agro! I gave my mates car as an example, not to do the 'weez better' routine! Perhaps I should have worded it different.....

Such big injectors are uncommon here yet everyone there uses them. I was curious as to what duty cycle they are at with 320hp. I am thinking I are missing something.......

And no, neither he nor I have blown a motor ....we share your mindset 'build it for 400 but set it for 300'. Your 13B is currently only 20hp short of my 20B......Who can be bothered rebuilding donks every 6 months?

Cheers

Calling someone dumb is pretty ineffective when you prove your own stupidity in doing so.

It's you're you jackass.

Sorry if I came across defensive it was not my intention. It is obviuos my car has lots of untapped potential. I get remarks indirectly (not form members here btw) that I wasted my money with this swap as I could have easily gotten 320RWHP from a 13BT engine.

We are both of the same mindset. Tune for more then detune for prosperity. Good plan. Too many engines are being blown to peices. These engine dont grow on trees they will run out eventually.

I wish I could truly tell you my injector duty. I am not sure. My motec M-4 is telling me they are hitting 120% at times and we both know thats wrong. I have something inpted wrong somewhere. I am sorting that out. My biggest concern was my a/f ratios and they are rich all the way across the board. Like I said there is more than enough fuel to run this car a 1.5 bar all day long. I am almost to the bottom of the injector size issue with the motec. Hopefully I can get real #'s for you soon.

I have a alterior motive anyway. I will leave this car at 320RWHP and add a 50 shot of N2O tot he mix. I hopefully will begin installation this weekend. Rocky and Ari at RX-7.com told me that a 50 shot tuned correctly will get me 100 at the wheels. Turbo's like N2O a lot.
