So it was late saturday morning. I was casually pulling out of my driveway in my FD when I noticed a 1991 Toro revving his engine on me. Right in front of my house! So I revved back, and we went for it! I smoked the tires on go, so he got a jump on me. I slowly but surely pulled ahead. When he knew he was going to lose, he swerved at me, nearly hitting me! I slammed on my brakes and got out of the car and threatened his life. He stopped and did a 180 and took off. Well, I still smoked him. My adrenaline was pumping for an hour after that race. I'm just glad it wasn't the high output model, as that would've been nearly impossible to beat. That or the mulcher model, I probably would've lost.

Yeah, he probably went back to his Toro forum and said it he could've smoked you is his bag wasn't full. Or not enough 2 stroke oil in his gas.

Nothing runs like a Deere.

There's a new model coming out next year...16hp B&S DOHC, 6-speed sequential shift....they had to put solid rubber tires on it, kept popping the air up ones....double wishbone suspension, lower profile deck with kevlar and carbon fiber bag, and back spoiler.......

BE AFRAID!!!!!!!!!!!!

I raced one similar to the one you raced, but it had a lightened blade, side ejection (bag and assembly was completely removed for weight loss), and the Recaro edition seat. He beat me by two hedges.
