So I pull out of my driveway and start heading towards the city. I immediately come up behind a neon with some ridiculous body add ons, a loud exhaust, and a little sticker on the back bumper that says "turbo" which I somehow doubt was valid. So of course I tailgate the next mile or two before the highway in hopes of provoking a race. Needless to say I'm in second taching about 5 crawling up his *** while we negotiate the on ramp. As soon as we get to two lanes I jump out in the passing lane, hit third when the buzzer says to and walk by with ease. The neon guy was not happy and wouldn't talk to me at the next traffic light. I just wanted to know if his gay ride really was turboed or not heheh! I hope not for his sake cuz he would've spent a lot of money to get beat by a bone stock 84 GSL SE! Adding insult to injury, I'm in the process of doing bodywork and repainting so my car looks like Sh%t!

 

I doubt his neon was turbo. I think your gonna see a lot of "turbo" neons once the SRT comes out, becuase riceboys will be able to prove that turbo neons do exist, and they will try to play off that there neon is one of them...just like you see "SI" civics, when its really a DX w/ SI badges...its all ghetto...

..on another note, I don't dislike neons..my daily driver is an' 00 and my sister is buying an '03 SXT(nonturbo)...they are good commuters...mine has K&N intake w/ removed airbox lid, so it at least sounds modified, lol...

neons aren't that bad. my friend ran a 14.4 in his and places in the top 5 at every auto-x.

 

So that must have been after a turbo kit.

 

nope, NA. intake, cams, full exhaust, pulleys, and DR's.

 

I saw a base model (no PS, A/C, PW...NOTHING) with just a Cold air intake run 14.00. No ****. Scared the **** outta me.

 

doesnt seem logical.. but oh well, what can ya do.
