Sorry to hear about your loss (makes it sound like a family member died) but it is cool that you only lost by a small margin even after sleeping at the line. 
I want to know, though, why set yourself up at such a disadvantage? If he needs that much advantage on you then he doesn't deserve the honor to be racing you. And if he is talking so much **** then asks for basically a headstart then he definitely doesn't deserve to race you.
Instead of spending the time and money to increase the performance of his car and run a good, fair race off the line, he is asking for headstarts and then he probably brags later about how he beat this POS RX-7. That's worse than what Jesse James did to that fc on his show.
I wouldn't waste the time or energy or wear and tear on my car to race someone like that. It ain't worth it.

jayshadow, why would you need the BS flag, i would have to be an *** to come on here and make up a scenario in which i lost a race for $2000 against a bone stock S2000, when i have like $20K invested in my FD. i was embarassed to even post this thread, but i told the S2000 guy that i would post the results and video weather i won or lost. video in a few days
