Me Vs. Bpu Mkiv
#14
I did pull away from him twice. He beat me about twice as well.
He pulled on my car with rikkis older brother driving it twice also.
But Danny (rikkis brother) is used to his Super Charged Miata, not my Fd. So It is tied with me driving and like I said I had a passenger and he did not.
BPU = Basic power upgrades.
He said he was dynoed last at 470ish.
Who knows if thats bologna or not.
Either way it was pretty much a dead even match.

BPU Supra's run around 399-410 RWHP.
470 pulls 50-60RWHP out of somewhere?! That's no BPU supra, it's got some plus's....(FMIC? Pulleys?)
BPU means a full exhaust (With DP), intake (yeay!), and raised boost.
Usually raised to 18psi (As opposed to I think an 11psi stock) and that's it for BPU.
Anything surrounding it, like the pulleys, or fmic..etc. Are +++. The APU tag means "Advanced"= Single Turbo.
If he has 410RWHP i think that translates to 470BHP? Who knows. I spent 2 years as a Supra fanatic and just got over it, so I remember some of it

actually the supra guys have been getting 470's at the rear wheel. the problem was stock wastegate spring wasn't strong enough to hold high amounts of boost and would spike at 18-19lbs of boost, they'd settle at like 15-16 lbs. some of the supra guys have been replacing the stock spring with a little heavier one and been able to hold up to 20lbs of boost and netting near 470's with bpu and stock turbo's running non-sequential. juast an FYI
