Not really a kill but still alot of fun.

Taken from my post on I~supra fourms..

Hi guys, First time here on your board. I spend most of my time over at nopistons.

Anyway, I was out and about today and ran into one of your board members (97turbo)

I have met him before about a year or so ago.

Anyway we decided to go get some runs against each other. The first 3 or 4 my buddy was driving my car .(he wanted to so i let him)

We did about 2 or 3, 3rd gear pulls. Each time my car was pulled on about a car or two at most. So we found an empty road and did a run from a dead stop, my buddy still driving and the MKIV had about 1 to 1/2 car length on me.

Then I get behind the wheel. We run from 3rd gear and my turbos were slow to spool and i got pulled on by about 1-2 cars again.

Finally we ran a 3nd gear pull and I stayed in front and or dead even.

Last run was about the same results.

Factoring in that I had a passenger while he did not and I was using a poor premix. ( I had added 4ox. lube to 5 gallons gas. It should be 4/12)

I have a street ported 13b twin turbo, non-sequential, with all the bolt ons money can buy. Aaron said he is BPU. running stock fuel.

I'm tunned on a PMC for 15 psi and was running at 15 psi when we raced.

He said his last dyno was at 470ish

I have never dynoed but my buddy works at PFS and we copied his 360 Hp set up on my car. Now i know i am pretty much dead even with a 450hp plu

s Supra.

Thanks for the runs Aaron. I had a blast.

Email me and lets keep in touch for the rematch.

I plan on a t04r or t78 ( who knows really) ove the winter. Our next runs should be even better.

D.
