Maybe the base NSX, the Type-R now, that's a different story...

 

i havn't read about the type-r yet...... how much power and how much does it go for?

 

Of course the HP is limited to 280 (I think that's the number, just like the other Japanese supercars) but the handling is unreal. I have a video (dunno from who, maybe Best Motoring) that put the Type-R against a 911 Turbo, a Murcielago, a Toyota Chaser (Turbo right?), and some other fast cars (the ones I listed are the ones I remember), and it spanked them all!



The price is over $100K though, definitely an elitist car.

99' spec FD beat the NSX type r on the tsukuba beat a r34, some lancer, and some normal NSX's and some other cars in a vid i have somewhere.



The FD driver was sick too.

 

when is the 280hp thing gonna be lifted? I heard from somewhere the pact is gonna end, but never heard about it again

 

Nobody really adhears to it anymore.



They sandbag their cars (say they make less power then they do) to get by.



Its not a rule written in stone. It is an agreement between automakers. They dont really HAVE to follow it anyways.

 

i didnt get the loan for the car and he sold it alrady, so i am looking for another one now. the guy that had the 7 told me that he had walked all over the nsx plenty of times.
