Sup all ..........its me again ...



Well lets get to the story this happened a week and a half ago , when i was driving to work . A red 3000gt VR4 twin turbo challenged me ........i hesitaded on racing him because my rx7 was way too lean but a vr4 is almost impossible to see over where i live. so i decided to go at it ......we came to a stop light and thats where it happened......we both lunch at green and i had the lead ...i was like wow ....i have to win....my rep is on the line ....dum of my part.. i pushed my car to 6,500 rpm boosting 10 pounds i was like "hell yeah ...too fast for you...."i had the lead till the end of 3rd gear and the lean problem got worst the car went super lean and my car started to slow down ....and he passed me ... then a light came up and we had to stop ....there .. after i stoped my car turn off .....like a minute and a half later the car turned on and the car sound fine but at the next light ..yeah i noticed that i broke an apex seal....





but hell yeah i can say i took out a vr4............ 3 days later i rebuilt the egine and yeah am ported ...........so .......look out vr4 .........i'm coming for you again ......but this time i wont break..........i hope

 

Sorry to hear about your engine

but atleast your car "died" in a blaze of glory

 

So at green you guys got hungry? lol just kidding. Gotta love blowing your motor for a good cause

 

hell yeah..... you should try it.... its hell fun .....specially having to remove,rebuild and, installing it............... ............









na ....just kidding..... i do it all the time ..so it was easy

 

Oh boy I hope I dont start a flame war here... but you mean to say you took a VR4 from a stop!?! you sure it was an VR4 and not a Base or SL?



Anyway, if it was a vr4, that guy wasnt trying or didnt know how to laugh it...



I'm not saying BS, and maybe you did beat him, so good kill, but I know with a good lauch he would of put 1-4 cars on you from the begining... and you would of had to work super hard to catch him... Just my $0.02

 

Yeah those things can pull off amazing 60 foot times on street tires.

 

You won't because this story is just that, a story.

 

i hope you have plans to get more fuel to your motor. it dont help going and porting your engine when your already running lean

 

Im with sundown on this one..My best friend has a vr4 and when i raced him stock for stock he got the launch but then got shutdown...

 

yeah... the 4 wheel drive is too much traction if he knew what he was doing. those cars are damn fast.
