This is why everybody is dissapointed about the rx8.
It is NOT an rx-7, nor was it ment to compare to the FD.
They are very different cars. My feeling is that mazda will have something out for the more *sports car* minded people soon enough.

And who knows how commted this guy was to racing/revving his brand new motor.
P.S. The good new is that I've been hearing some rumors about either a turbo RX-8 and or the return of the "7". From what I understand is that they are keeping it on very low-down, so as to not effect sales of the current RX-8. But if it happens the new "7" will have all the performance you can ask for.
