So after the lights werent offset i hit a burnout at 7000rpms and took off and he pulled off in front of me by like 1 1/4 car after like 3 blocks i catched up quick and dipped into the far right lane ( 3 lane blvd , i moved into the lane where u park) and i cut off some car and i passed hiim going pretty quick. So that is my automatic kill

Point of the story .. i hit another bump and now messed up my left exhaust.
....7000RPM....? Now, I wouldn't know AT RX's at all, but can somebody help me here...?

A) Wouldn't the AT shift WELL before 7000?

B) If you did an N --> Drive drop to do this "burnout", you're risking serious damage to your trans...my friend used to do "burnouts" like that all the time in his AT Camaro and he wound up SEVERELY ******* up that trans.

C) Did you do this "Burnout" from a standstill? Or were your tires spinning when you hit 7000RPM? Either or, it's kinda hard to take in, seeing as I don't know an AT's shift-points very well....a little help here?

i put in in neutral and droppeed it into drive.....before my muffler was broken i could only chirp. that day i did a lil burnout. I was standing still. I dont care about my trannyi have a 5 speed waiting for me. If i blow this one ill put the other one in. thas alll. i just want to see how far n/a automatic goes compared to a n/a manual. Im doing some research

and when im driving and flooring it the car shifts at like 6,200 rpms more or less in the 6k range.

Please, quit acting like a child and making it like you're "calling me out" for lack of a better term. Grow the **** up. For one thing, mister "say it to my face", oh yeah, sure, I'd LOVE to drive to NY and say you're a bullshitter!! In fact, hook me up w/directions!! Quit the hard-*** act, nobody cares.

Back on topic, it's one thing to play w/your car, I just hope you're realizing the potential damage you can be doing to it...like I said before, the car looks really nice judging by the pics of it, and I'd hate to see it racked up and/or blown out.

Hey - If you guys wanna fight and argue, theres another forum just for that. If he wants to **** his car up, then so be it. No need to start arguing about it.
