I'm not trying to start **** but honestly, an automatic FC getting up to 138? Maybe if your speedo was off by 20 mph. You'd have to have so much just to get going that fast. Here's a suggestion...stop driving your car like you stole it...everywhere. Last time i checked just about any car is gonna last longer if you don't take it aboev 100 and beat the crap out of it like it sounds like you do. And second your post doesnt even fit the title.
You wanna go out and see if your car can go 138? Fine by me, lets go cruise. I'd love to see what you have to say when i pass you going 110 while you claim your speedo is reading 138.

the gearing is totally different than the 5spd NA and they can get to about 140....

But it is true. An auto with diff gearing than the manual trans shouldn't even come NEAR 130, unless you were rolling downhill and STILL maxing out the engine. Hope you don't blow it up in the coming weeks if you keep that up...that is...if you've even seen 130.....
