Killed The Car ... And The Cop?

So, I want to start off with by telling you all that I hardly ever race people on main streets, stop light to stop light, etc... UNLESS its a rare oppurtunity. My 7 is also not my daily driver, so the only time I'm in my 7 is when im feeling "sporty". haha
Well Im driving home on a 6 lane highway tonight, it was about 10pm, not many cars. I pull up along side this honda civic, standard rice mods. I dont even look at the kid, and I just take off like normal. I have no intentions of racing this kid, as I know the outcome and I dont want to waste the gas (I was already really low).
Well he kept pacing me, right next to me... then he would speed up and slow down .. so I figured, fine, whatever ... so from 4th, i dropped it into 2nd, burned my tires, got sideways, straighted on, and shot past him. Well as I started going I was thinking "man, there is no one in front of me for about 1 mile, its a 6 lane road, and im accelerating at a fast pace ... I'm gonna keep going". I hit 3rd.... drain out 3rd. Hit 4th, by now I'm at about 110mph and I see a car coming the opposite way. 1 single car ....
I fly by, as I suspected ... and just as luck would have it, its a local PD. I look at him, he looks at me .. we made eye contact as I blew past him at speeds over 100 mph on a 45 mph road. He slowed down, as to "collect his thoughts" perhaps. I started to slow down, by this point im pretty far past him. I see him start turning around and I run through my options quickly and my risk factor ... calculations come back, foot mashed the throttle pedal. .... back up to the tripple digit speeds.
There is a "turn off" merging lane that goes onto the road that goes to my house. I take that at about 70+ with tires just about to start skipping. Take the next turn, go 2 turns, make the next turn, go down another street, and vala... hit the garage button, pull her in, then me and my friend hit the movie theater.
Normally I dont condone running from the police. Normally I wouldnt do it, only under certain circumstances. But this was one of those 'special' times when my pentaly for the infraction was greater than my risk of losing him.
