This morning i was on my way to McDs for breakfast.

I see a New 350Z with Temp tags. So I stop behind him,

because there was no open lane. As the light turned green, I figured the 350Z might play, I was taching it up

while easing on the clutch. So as we leave the light, I notice, the 350z getting on the gas as smoke comes

out its exhaust. So I WOT into 2nd. I pulled up and

next to this 350z in 2nd, and started pulling away

then into 3rd i had at least 2-3 car lengths on it.

Wasn't much of a race. So I let off then turn into

mcD's, as the 350z zooms by.



I must admit. the new 350z looks nice, but is SLOW.

Gets no respect. I hope they put some turbos in those

things, because it needs it bad.

not trying to say you wouldn't have killed him otherwise, just wondering if that affects performance

It would be a good race between the FD and the 350Z.

The Z has a HP advantage, but is heavier than the FD. I don't know if the HP advantage will make up for the extra weight though.

 

cool, but u have got to realize ur car is fast, probably putting down 300 to the wheels w/ 2800lb-ish. Thats goona whoop almost all stock cars.

 

I got in it with one of those things... A nice blue one... It was quick off, but fell back as I went to 3rd gear... Pretty sweet car. But he was drooling when he caught me at the next light. We exchanged thumbs. I think it may have been a dealer car or some ****... Looked like a tech driving it....

 

lol thats like someone racing with a car from the dealership... i cant remember who it was though

 

friends father bought a 350z and the old 300z TT puts it to shame, the 350 really needs boost

 

yeah, i imagine they wrere braking it in. i seriously doubt they are going to blow a new engine on a punk kid in a 3rd gen. Thoses Z's look good, and i image if companies like mazda and others beef up the power with off shoots like mazdaspeed and SVT, nissan will step it up with nismo or something like that.
