yeah, i imagine they wrere braking it in. i seriously doubt they are going to blow a new engine on a punk kid in a 3rd gen. Thoses Z's look good, and i image if companies like mazda and others beef up the power with off shoots like mazdaspeed and SVT, nissan will step it up with nismo or something like that.
They still break cars in these days?

Nismo makes a twin turbo kit with I/C, it's supposed to make 380rwhp. but it costs $15K for the kit.

FD3S with those mods will of course kill a 350z. How about the stock FD3S straight off the showroom floor VS the 350z?

I really doubt the 350z wasn't racing. He probably was. He had a reputation to uphold, right? Nissan VS Mazda? He tried, he lost. Too bad he can't make easy power like a turbo car can.

stock i think the cars should be pretty close... advantage to the fd top end though... most cars are computer controlled now and have no break in period... when my g/f bought her focuz he told her drive it normal.. that there was no driving restrictions... although i still wouldnt push it hard for awhile

I had a chance to take a new one (Silver 350) for a spin on the 94 but didn't because I've never driven a stick FD so I couldn't ruin the expeiance. Hey, I take my FD **** very seriously, won't drive anything remotly fast until my test drive on friday. Ahhh, first M/T FD drive, it'll be a Montego Touring with the rear wing. God damn, only 6 more days.
