last nite i was driving home, and i saw a skittle green civic, bout 94 or 95 with exhaust. i pull up next to him and signal to race, we both dip about the same time. I got ripped by almost 2 car lengths. Next light i ask him wut he has, and he tells me he got a B16 with nos. i was kinda mad..lol. Ohh well cant win em all.

is the dual over head cam 1.6 liter 170 hp motor that came in the 98 model SI Civic 2 doors... Ran into one in my grandmas eclipse and it had NOS and he slowly beat me but not real fast.. I think my mustang would of ran side by side with him...

wut kinda eclipse does your grandmother have? I have raced the older GSTs, and beat em as long as they arent boosting, or have too much work.



LS engine is the non Vtec. i rip those...

Her is a 2000 Eclipse GT V6 5 speed.. I already raced a turbo eclipse in it and hung with it for a long while he did eventually beat me as he had exhaust and probably a few other things...

A B16A2 has 160 H.P. and they're in the '99 and '00 SI Coupes and the Del Sol VTECs, but you were close.

On the way to work I pulled next to a dark green Si at a light. Only had exhaust from what I can tell. I wasn't going to race him cause my work is only a little over an 1/8 mile from the light. The girl in the passenger seat yelled "Yo" so I looked over. When I did she said "bye". So now it was on. Right from the line I pulled half a car length in front of him. By the time I hit the work parking lot I was 1 1/2 car lengths ahead. I waived by. They were pissed. Not that big of a kill, but one none the less.

160 is the official ratings but what I have seen on dyno's looks more like it should be 170 at the crank. not much difference but in a light Civic a difference non the less.....
