I'm driving around with my friend today job searching and we pull up to a stoplight its red. It's a one way two lane road and a red mid 90s Intrepid pulls up beside my 90 Accord. I look over and laugh, its some old lady at least in her 60s, white hair, everything. Jokingly i turn to my friend and am like, "hah watch me smoke her ***". Inside joke with me and my friends, racing people who dont know we're racing them. Anyways i powerstall to 1200 rpms, take off, great launch. I hit bottom of 3rd gear, goin about 60ish, let off the gas for a second so my car can slow down cause speed limit is 45. Half a second pause and then BAM!! out of the corner of my eye i see the Intrepid right before it blows by me, i try to hit the gas again and keep up but its too late, she's already 6 car lengths ahead of me while my friend is laughing his *** off.



We meet up at the stop sign and the old lady is just grinning lookin back it us cause she's in the other lane a few cars up, i give her a thumbs up.



Needless to say it was an embarrassing night for the accord.

haha that sounds like when i had my 85 FB when i was 16. me and my friend would drive up and down being bored trying to race people (in my 19 sec 1st gen). we pulled up to a jeep with like 4 girls in it and im like watch this im a beat them so i take off and they arnt even trying and they beat me then i raced some huge pick up truck and got destroyed.
