Joe_Flo: I dunno most mustang "drivers" i know are some of the best drivers i've met. It's just there is such a saturation of mustangs because it's such a long time spanning car and relatively affordable due to very crappy versions, that you get idiots buying them thinking it makes them good and those are the ones always trying to race anything, and getting embarassed. Mustang drivers have to be good, that car fishtails with the slightest wrong steering input, damn crappy little boxes .



My friend dave shaved .4-.6 a second off of almost every car that he drives. His Integra Type R hits 14.0's and sometimes very high 13's bone stock, where as it's rated at like 14.5's or something. He also ran a 16.4 in a 2001 Hyundai Tiburon with just intake and exhaust, but the car had a horribly bad clutch (after the run they pushed it out of englishtown and called the hyundai 24hr road side assistance after scraping the shoe polish off), may not seem like much but stock those things run 16.9's.........anyway Dave is a pure-bred mustang driver who just recently switched to imports, shoulda seen his old mustang, oh **** that was sweet lookin.

Doesn't the S351 have like 500 hp and runs with Vipers? Sure it wasn't a regular 281?

 

either a really bad mustang driver, or that must be one of that fastest wrx's in the world.



the S351 has 510 HP / 495 TQ.. *shrug* even with the weight it has, i think it runs like 12.7?



my brother has a modded wrx.. i know how fast they can go, and he couldn't even come close to me when I had it at 8 psi.. which was like 340-350 RWHP.

anybody ever think about the fact that it prob wasnt even a saleen and just a mustang with a saleen body kit,,i see those a lot im not sure but dont saleens only come in white?? i heard that once but i never really cared to find out if it was true???? just a thought

 

maybe it was the one from "2 fast 2 furious" it had everything saleen............. except the engine

I think the newest cobra's have like 390hp.. and I think a saleen has less than that.. unless it's supercharged.. but not 510hp..

 

I also think it's hard to believe you beat the saleen.. unless the AWD and good driving skills were put to the test..

 

if it was a REAL s351 with the blower, the wrx would have lost. there a more s351 fakers that shakers out there. it is kind of like the gt-R stickers on everyother import out there.



mustangs are mainly run over because of their factory gearing. they come out of the hole hard as hell, but they fall on their face like a 300zx in the upper rpm limit...
