Yes i had a lot of fun today ran all my new speaker wire(16 guage) to all the proper places excluding those damned head rest speakers. I also ran my patch cables down to the radio and tommorow im gonna do the power wire(8 guage) and remote line(16 guage) and also finish up the installation of everything else i have to go in(guages, cd changer, etc). After i get this stuff done i got to buy a new clutch slave, clutch, all the bearings get it all installed and wait for something else to break and have to replace it. And when i said fun i meant it i enjoy working on my car.

Where are you putting the amp?

Behind the seat under the spare tire cover is a good area.

Or you can mount a board vertically in the trunk in that well, then screw your amp to that, thats how I have mine mounted.

Mazda was even so kind as to leave 2 brackets in there with holes already in them for thru-bolting a board.

For now its being mounted in the little hole area in the trunk later on when i build my sub box ill mount it to that to save room in my small *** trunk. Id put it behind the seat but i keep them back all the way and the seat positioned in such a weird way there is no room. The amp for my sub will probably go under the spare tire cover. I like everything hidden and nice looking. Rob did you rewire your headrests or just get rid of them?

where the wires come thru the firewall on the passenger side, you can can anything thru that hole, there is plenty of room there.
