the evo is a great car. i dont see why you guys are bagging on it. ya it runs mid 13s, ya it does only put down 235hp to the wheels, so having that little power explains why they get raped on the street from a roll and there 98mph trap speed. it does run 19psi of boost on a big 16g turbo, with a twin scroll, and based on what i've seen playing with this combo, big 16g and a 4g63 in my friends fwd automatic talon its making good use of the power, he was at 16psi with a big 16g, not one with a twin scroll, full exhaust, intake filter and a safc and a fully ported head. he put down 260whp, i can believe that a evo with a stock head, stock filter, stock exhuast, and a turbine housing that has the twin scroll in the way will probably make 280 at the motor but have to turn that huge driveline and 3 differentials will soak up almost 50. on launching an awd car its not easy to get the best launch, you can go to redline and drop the clutch, you will spin all 4 tires if the clutch is not burned out, its very trick to launch one, i have beaten awd cars out of the hole because i can launch my car i have taken 2 awd talons, an automatic, and a stick, and 2 different audi s4's. my car went 13.6 at 106.5 with a 2.07 60' my clutch was worn out and i had no lsd

The 4g63 is a good engine and can handle alot of boost, I know of a G-force EVO in the 9's. All wheel drive is not hard to launch if you know how to drive, unless you are 400 + it is going to be hard to spin all 4 tires for that long.
