I refuse to call anything a mustang anymore.. Its either a saleen, a cobra, or a pony.

 

Don't play with the O3 Cobra's expecially the ones with full exhaust & heavily modified. Those F**kers are like Supras. The stock bottom-end of the engine are all forged coming from the factory & They have already achieve 700-800HP stock engine and ran 9's in the 1/4. If you are not atleast pushing 400-500HP don't bother racing up against a highly modified 03 Cobra. This car will put the power to the ground unlike some 1000HP Supra that ran 12'-11's in the 1/4. I am not saying this to intimidate people but it's all facts & experiences.

 

how come a supra cant put the power down but the 03 cobra can?

a guy ran a 9.14 with ~800rwhp in a full interior/engine components supra on moderate boost with drag radials....i think it was a daily drivin car, the car still has all the carpets, the radio, the a/c, etc...runs almost a 9 flat...that was at 28psi with no nitrous...

 

I have Apex intakes, HKS carbon-Ti exhaust, SS DP, Walbro FP and a PFS ECU pushing 14-13-15 on the stock twins and a new reman. Rolling on Pirelli P7000's.



After the race, the guy gave me a thumbs up just before I turned off.



I can still remember the screaming supercharger and what sounded to be straight pipes, rapping that badass motor out. Never thought I could be so attracted to a mustang!
