My friend has a 99 protégé DX with cold air intake and an exhaust and I have an 88 fc with a street port, cone filter, and race beat mufflers. Ok this was the first night i drove my car so im not that good at shifting yet…. He called me up and wanted to race so we went out to the airport and raced there. We lined up, flag went down I took him off of the start shifted in to second still pulling on him, went to shift in to third MISSED the shift went in to 5th(lol) by this time I was about 3 cars ahead of him, I finally got it in the right gear and pulled to the end of 3 and had about5 or 6 cars on him… then on the way back we were going about 90 and he went to pass me and I shifted down and he never passed me, I pulled it till about 132mph. fun night
