My ambitions are by fin de anyo to have a 20b under the hood with a six speed. Im all about the sleeper and no one expects any thing from a mid seventies rotary they don't even recognize.
Please, I am dying to see some pics. And have you venture over to the vintagerotaries forum. I am over there alot, and the other guys over there would like your company and input over there. Believe me. Anybody that would think of putting a 20b in a RX-4 is god in there eyes.

P.S. Where are you located?

Yeah, I've thought about a ported 13b with a supercharger as an alternative to the 20b, but I really want to install the opitomy of the rotary engine(20b) into the Rx4 to make the ultimate sleeper. That and I love the sound of the three rotor engine.
My work college owns a 74' REPU, he wants me to put a 20b in the Rx4, but, he wants to replace the rotors with high compression rotors and widen the port significantly. A carbureted 20b sound tempting to me, what do you think?
Oh yeah, I'm in Boise, ID.

P.S. No, I don't grow potatoes (the only thing thats produced around here is sugarbeats, wheat, and a **** load of microchips. I work for HP), the area is too diverse for any racist, and there are far too many Ken doll ricers that are all show and no go.

A supercharger would be nice too, but I like BP and of course the ultimate Peri-Port. There is a sound clip on this site I posted of a 10a Peri-Port that is in a R100 I think. I forget what car it is in. Just search for 10a Peri-Port and you will come across it I am sure.
20b's are always going to be the ultimate engine swap. You could also go 26b But that would be insane, and a huge fabrication job.
Boise,Idaho huh? Any more vintage rotaries around your area? We only have one that I know of, and that is my neighbor Fd3BOOST, he owns a '74 REPU, yellow, with alot of work needed. You can't beat REPU's. I want to buy one for my dad when I get older and more experienced and completely restore it for him. With the very reliable 13b N/A with stock ports. I think he would ******' love it. And if he does not take it, I would gladly take it for him.
Get me some pictures so I can drool. And a picture of the REPU if possible.
