i'm just saying...with those mods, it should have come down to the driver...not the car

so a neon with an intake and exhaust and BOV magically is running alongside bobby's times?



have you ridden, seen, heard, watched his car? it's pretty ******* fast i dont see an intake and exhaust dropping down the neon's 1/4 mile by almost 2.5 seconds to stay with bobby, if thats all it takes for a 12 sec. neon then yea the cars a god, but you need a little more then just that.

i don't know who bobby is...or what he drives....i was just saying stock for stock....it should come down to the driver....if the srt4 had those mods....the srt4 should have taken it...if the fd was stock...i guess u guys misunderstood me

 

Even with the LSD, the thing has 0 camber. How is it gonna turn? (0 camber will also help with the drag launches though.)



Did you know that the SRT4 has power windows in front with manual roll up windows in the back? HAHAHAHA. Either they trying to save weight to make it faster, or they just cheap as hell.



Maybe the crappy plastic parts are race grade because they are so flimsy.



Have you seen their "submarine" seats? Yeah, they are straight outta Viper, but good god man, you don't experience side G loads going straight.



Yes, they are fast in a straight line (test drive only). No I've never raced one. No I'm not worried they will "take" me from a stoplight - it will have to be seriously modded.



Take your RX and your Neon buddy to a track with turns, a car show, or just drive them both by a couple of good looking girls, and you see which car "wins."

 

Hey, that's cool, a 12.9 @ 102 mph. ........... ah, but what we aren't paying attention to is that the car did it with 22 inch drag racing slicks and the car is modified with 16 psi. LOL That's probably a 1.6 60 ft time. LOL Come on, a stock FD will hit 102 mph in the quarter mile on the original S01 Bridgestones. Sure the quarter mile time will be higher for the stock FD, but it just goes to show you a stock FD will take a modified Neon from a roll. Imagine what a properly running stock FD would do to a stock Neon.



I was at the drag strip the other night. The Neon stock seems to run low to high 14s in the 90 mph range. The stock FD would beat it from any speed.



I do think the Dodge is a cool car. I wouldn't mind having one.
