Well, Friday night rolled around and I left work at 10:30pm I couldn't wait, because I had a chance to take my car out looking for a "meal". Keep in mind that just today, I had finished the work on my car ('89 TII with FMIC, TO4, full exhaust, intake, and Apexi fuel control. Boost controller(manual) and my new dual chamber blowoff.) I had waited 3months to have all this done. I had had the motor built and street ported, nd left stock turbo on to break in the motor. 2500 miles later, my beast is ready. So I take it out a little and look at the local hangout for some hondas or some friends of mine, when out of nowhere I hear...VROOOOM.

Look behind me and see the sickest looking camaro of all time. And just as I cruise by the hangout, the light turns red. By this time, my buddies at the hangout are watching us. they have yet to find out that my car is ready. So as the crowd is growing on the sidewalk, my heart is pounding. Camaro revving hard in the next lane and me idling, not knowing what to do .. I can see the looks of dissapointment form my friends, my thought, forget it, I am going all out on this one. I give is a little rev....vroom. a little more Vroom....and then the redline rev, VROOOOM(but wait) Pssssss. the sweet sound of the blowoff. Then I noticed a much larger crowd, I could tell the light was gonna change so I held the rpms at 4k. Camaro ready......GREEN He jumped me like crazy, my car almost stalled(still not used to the streetport launch). Hold on, holdon BEEEEEP, not yet.....now(2nd gear at 9k rpm) Then came the 14psi of boost, head to the seat, vision blur, his gap was gone, neck and neck(third gear) wait for it...now.....BOOOOOOST! I start to slowly pull, (fourth gear) ok time to let off, I WIN. Went back to the hangout, they all thought I lost till the guy in the camaro came back there and asked me to pop my hood. Greatest feeling in the world, sending a guy with a supercharged z28 off shaking his head. He said he had mostly stock fuel system, so I said with that tuned he probably would get me, but to watch him walk away shaking his head like I 'm crazy.....best feeling ever. The cops soon came and made everyone leave. I hate Naples, Fla. Average bedtime:-(....7:30pm

We hit it a little through 4th and we were over 100, maybe 105, 110. It was only 1/2 car length lead when I let off, but he saw me pass him. I saw him again last night and he said we should run again at the track, time for some slicks
