1st Race In My 7
#1
I have owned my car now for a little over one month. I was driving to work one morning last week and I always look for tail lights, I leave home at 5 am. I get up close and it is a 79 camero, we made a turn to get onto the highway, 6 lane, and I saw the smoke plum come over my hood and away we went, I like this onramp because it is long and curving, so I drop the car into 2nd and floor it, auto tranny, I am right on his rear and when we get onto the highway I moved to pass, well I glanced at the go meter and I was passing 100 mph. I dont remember when I bumped into drive, but I know the overdrive was off. I kept it floored and passed him, but I dont know if he backed off or if I did in fact beat him.
I love the feel of that rotary pulling hard pass 3 grand, this could be addictive! What is the top speed on an n/a, his car was too old to have a speed limiter. Or, is this typical for a 7? If it is, I am definetly getting a T2.

Alright, cool. I don't have a cat-back yet, it's in my upcoming mods list, but the one i'm getting is good enough. First I gotta wire my 6 ports open (maybe tonight ) I'm finally over my "illness", so I'll be back out again soon. I should be free just about any night after 9:30 this week. Just let me know what day's good for you. By the way, you ever get that paint job on?

No paint yet, I have to remove the front bumper and fix the right fender so I can align the hood and headlight bucket. These are all off by about 1/2 inch, and I didnt want to paint until the body is straight. Being "on call" all weekend didnt leave me much time to work on it.
