Well I was out driving on 94 and saw this Gold 98 Gt doing a bit of aggressive driving. So I decide to catch up. We catch up I look over kind of a dorky guy driving. So I figure he wont race. Light turns green I nail it he gets a bad launch and I pull away 2 car lengths in 1st I hear him scratch in 2nd I pull another car lenght then we shut down do to traffic. Well we slow down and wait for the traffic to get ahead drop down to about 38 or so. Then we both drop it I pull a good car length and half on him but miss 3rd and he flies by. Well he most of known I missed the shift because he slows back down and we slow down to about 40 in a 55 and the light ahead turns red. We both come to a stop he revs. I hear an exhaust but not much else. Light turns green we both get a good launch he is running side by side with me. Shift to 2nd he does a mild scratch I just hook and begin to pull. He shifts to 3rd I wind out more and pull about a car length on him then I shift and pull about another half car length on him he shift to 4th I keep winding out and pull another car length on him and begin pulling harder. He finally shuts down and then I do and tap my brakes letting him know. Well I slow down he slowly passes me and begins to turn off so I follow him. We pull into a QT to talk. He had a Ford Motorsport heavy duty clutch and a dynomax Super turbo exhaust. He said it was a 98 GT 5 spd. He had 3.08 Gearing. All I have is a cold air intake and an electric cooling fan. I tell him my mods and the price I paid for the car he is slightly disappointed since he was beat by a rough older GT convertible with no real mods! But he was cool and the race was good!

just racken em up ic, i can't wait to put insurance on my car, and go drive :sigh:

Night time is my time if your on the road and you got some power your a race! Whether I win or loose! lol



Only problem is my gas mileage when I race... lol I will drop below 200 miles for 15 gallons worth of gas but when I dont race I can get like 325 miles out of a 15 galon tank lol....
