The car before my seven was a 93 S13, DOHC.. It would take probe GT's, so you can use that as a gauge, maybe..

 

There was no such thing as a KA28DE. The S-14 engine is the same as the RHS-13 (91-94) 240s..the KA24DE. 2.4L 2 cam. it has a different intake manifold thats bout it. BTW this is US spec.



Oh, and I used to be a Nissan guy. as well as (dare i say) honda (long long time ago)

 

dammit...i thought so too. i am WAY more familiar with the s13 than s14 and s15. and he was like yea i got a ka28de in here. i was like u mean ka24de.. he said no it was from one of the newer ones. it was one of the newer ones though. he let me look ender the hood. and it definatley not the s13 ka24de... thanx for clearing that up...damn look at that that dudes spreading some false knowledge!

 

Dude I drove a 240sx for 4 months before I got my motor in my rx7 and I will say that you will be able to smoke him with out a doubt. There was a huge difference in power between the two. I think I could've smoked my car when it had the 12a in it. I seriously think if your car is running right you can take him no prob.
