I've considered buying one before I go back.. I plan on XM radio anyways, so who cares about normal FM. All the radio I could ever want is on XM. And I think it was a good $150 or more cheaper for the SAME DECK over here. Although I don't know if it's in english or not, cuz it's higher end than what autobacs and stark's carry. Usually don't display it...they have the lower end decks on display.. dirty bastards.

Ok, for instance:

Carrozzeria DEH-P919 for Y80,000

verse the US same model

Premier DEH-P940MP for $890

These are the same unit, but the Japanese version is significantly cheaper. Just the MSRP is (at an average rate of Y120/$1) $200 cheaper. Damn, now that I think of it, anyone know a good car stereo shop I could find this at? :bigok:

Hey Speedwagon, sorry I never made it to FAHC to help you pull your engine. I was in the middle of some **** all weekend.

I have a Panasonic with outboard TV and DVD navigation if one of you Japan guys are interested. The head unit is dual DIN with MD/CD and the DVD carrier also acts as a CD changer. I need $1000 for everything. I am not talking about the Alpine that is in my car either!!

You can help me take it apart tomorrow if you want.

Have to clean it up some. My storage runs out tomorrow at typhoon as well, so I have to pay for some more days, or move it out of there.

Yeah, I regret that one. Especially because it is the same engine as mine (with very minor differences)! Sorry about that, man.

But do they sell this in the states?

My old roomate has one of those. He bought it when we were in japan last year. I'll have to agree though, he's a huge FD ricer and I think the headunit makes it worse for him, all the colors and stuff. He also has the full set of Defi BF gauges, only two of which do anything other than just light up.
