:bigthumg: I don't think it would work. A guy that owns a Honda accesory shop around here has an

imported civic SI and the radio doesn't get any radio stations and the cd player only plays

the cd's straight through you can't skip tracks. So it probably wont work.

US radios/cd players work in Japan so I don't see why the wouldn't. HOWEVER, their FM frequencies ranges are different. They go lower than ours and don't go as high as ours.

FM range is 76~90mHz so you won't be getting many stations. A CD player is a CD player. Most of the military guys over here use US CD players that are bought on base an they don't have any problems.

Most of the newer decks can be toggled/programmed to recieve the different frequency ranges. you will have to read the "how to" instructions from the Pioneer counterpart. Or you can just buy a Frequency adapter that basically plugs into your antenna to do the conversion.

The only difference between the Pioneer in the states, and the Carrozzeria over here, is the name, radio freq's, and the price. Usually cheaper here. (I'm more into car audio than car performance, so I keep up on this stuff) :yum:

As if this has anything to do with the CD? Hello?

Carrozzeria a lot of times is sold as "Premier" in the states. Premier is high end Pioneer, as is Carrozzeria.

I have a Carrozzeria deck and I can tell you this: They didn't have my model in the states until like 2 years after they had it here. There IS a difference, and it ain't rice.... its new technology and cool **** like that deck dragon just got. :bigthumg:
